Frequently asked questions
- What can I use All Things Dog for?
All Things Dog provides public directories for dog breeders and dog care services, dog-friendly places, ancestry records, a marketplace, and community notices. The information shown is the information currently published on the site.
- Can I browse All Things Dog without an account?
Visitors can browse the public directories and published pages without signing in. An account is required for actions that the site protects, such as account-based marketplace or partner features.
- How current is information on a public listing?
A public listing shows information that is currently published and eligible to appear on All Things Dog. Listings, availability, prices, and provider details can change, so confirm important details directly with the relevant provider or seller.
- What does a certified partner listing mean?
Certified is a status used by All Things Dog for an eligible partner profile. The site's partner process describes an assessment that includes documentation, references, and premises before a listing goes live. It is a directory status, not a promise about a particular outcome, and visitors should make their own checks before engaging a provider.
- How do I contact a breeder or service provider?
Open the public partner profile and use the website or booking link shown there, when one is available. All Things Dog does not provide the listed service, so confirm availability, pricing, and suitability directly with the provider.
- How can a business apply to become a partner?
Businesses can start from the Become a Partner page. The site describes an application and assessment process; a profile is not the same as an approval, and the current status shown on the site is the source of truth.
- How can I find a dog-friendly place?
Use the Dog-Friendly Places directory to search published places and filter the results by the options available on that page. Check the individual listing and contact the place directly for its current dog policy and availability.
- What information does an ancestry record show?
A public ancestry record is shown when it has a registered name and breed. It may also show published details such as sex, date of birth, photographs and recorded parentage. These relationships are registry information, not DNA confirmation. DNA verification is coming soon; public DNA results are not yet available.
- What does Find My Puppy do?
Find My Puppy is a guided search that uses the choices you provide to show matching available puppies and upcoming litters from published breeder information. Results depend on the current listings and are not a guarantee that a puppy is available or suitable.
- Can I buy a product through the marketplace?
An active product listing can be added to the cart and taken through checkout when the product, seller, price, and stock checks pass. Prices and stock can change, and the checkout result is the confirmation of whether an order can be completed.
- What is the Notice Board for?
The Notice Board publishes partner applications currently under certification review so members of the public and industry peers can raise a concern through the site's contest process. A notice is part of that review process; it is not a finding that a concern is valid.
- Can a business advertise on All Things Dog?
The Advertise page describes the available advertising placements and enquiry process. Advertising is separate from certification and does not change the published status of a directory listing.
